Cladding Safety Victoria is abolished; all its assets, liabilities, contracts, and legal proceedings transfer to the Victorian Building Authority (VBA).

Staff employed by Cladding Safety Victoria transfer to the VBA.

The building permit levy is adjusted: an amount that was previously collected specifically for the cladding rectification program is replaced by a levy payable on non-regional buildings and paid into the VBA's Building account.

All funds held in the Cladding Safety Victoria account transfer to the VBA's Building account (cladding sub-account) on the commencement day.
