This bill being passed means that:
Because Medicinal Cannabis is now legal in victoria, the Road Act needs to be amended to reflect this. New Changes mean that it is no longer completely illegal to drive with cannabis detectable in your bloodstream provided it is consumed in accordance with a prescription; however if you are affected and unable to drive properly, this is still punishable under the same rules that cover other prescription drugs.
