This bill being passed means that:

Police can use firearms to manage prison riots;

Electronic monitoring devices can now be removed forcibly (e.g. when required as evidence);

New trial of paid prisoner employment, wages partly given to Victims of Crime fund and partly withheld until release;

Stronger prison contraband penalties;

Parole drug testing may be supervised to prevent substitution
