This bill being passed means that:
Instead of an optional fine, the jail term for initially breaching an intervention order will be 2 to 5 years jail; If there are children involved it goes up to 7
If an intervention order is repeatedly ignored, the jail term goes up to 10 years (was four previously); if children are involved it goes up to 12 years
