This bill being passed means that:

Property amendments stating that wives have the full right to own property are repealed; instead this is covered by a standalone law

Laws which state that married men are specifically not responsible for their wives debts (acquired before marriage) are repealed in favour of laws which state that individuals are responsible for themselves
