Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

People cannot supply beverages in eligible containers without a deal with the Scheme Coordinator.
The EPA can order a person to hand over a vehicle for testing and inspection.
People cannot refuse a vehicle inspection to avoid incriminating themselves.
The EPA can keep financial assurance funds to pay for clean up costs.
Only one person can be the Scheme Coordinator at a time.
The Minister can take over the Scheme Coordinator's powers if the Coordinator fails to act.
The Scheme Coordinator agreement can set different administration fees for Recycling Victoria.
