Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Registered building practitioners must provide requested information for the Register of Building Practitioners within 5 business days.
Licensed building employees must provide requested information for the Register of Building Employees within 5 business days.
Licensed building employees must notify the Authority of any changes to their register information within 14 days.
Licensed or registered plumbers must provide requested information for the Register of Plumbers within 5 business days.
Licensed or registered plumbers must notify the Authority of any changes to their register information within 14 days.
Architects must provide requested information for the Register of Architects within 5 business days.
Licensed surveyors cannot use their legal powers if they fail to show a valid ID card or proof of registration to a land occupier.
People using automatic deemed registration must provide proof of insurance and pay a fee.
