Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Courts can ban people from race-courses for up to 5 years if they commit specific racing offences.
Police can physically remove people from race-courses or restricted racing areas.
It is a criminal offence to enter a race-course while under a ban order.
People face fines for refusing to give their name and address to authorised officers.
People face fines for obstructing authorised officers or climbing fences in restricted racing areas.
Authorised officers face fines for leaking information they get while doing their jobs.
