If this bill passes, it means that:

Firefighters can claim certain cancers were caused by their work.
This includes primary site lung and skin cancer after 15 years of service.
It includes malignant mesothelioma after 15 years of service.
It includes primary site penile cancer after 15 years of service.
It includes primary site cervical, ovarian, uterine, pancreatic, and thyroid cancers after 10 years of service.
The cancer must be the primary site unless it is malignant mesothelioma.
The bill repeals the Firefighters' Presumptive Rights Compensation Legislation Amendment Bill 2023 on its first anniversary.
