Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Individuals and corporations cannot sell tickets to major events in controlled areas.
Sellers cannot charge more than 10% above the original price without the organiser's written approval.
Fines for unlawful ticket reselling go up for individuals and corporations.
Buying a ticket for more than 10% above the original price is no longer a crime.
People with indictable convictions or insolvency cannot be directors of Stadiums Queensland.
Drones are now included as aircraft for unauthorised advertising rules.
Special events at major sports facilities can ignore some liquor and local noise laws.
These events meet environmental noise duties if they follow specific regulation conditions.
