Effects of this bill

CSG wells in the Condamine Alluvium area cannot release contaminants that lower water quality.
CSG resource authority holders must pay for land subsidence effects on affected land.
This liability extends to land within five kilometres of the authorised area.
Drilling a directional well on private land in the Condamine Alluvium area is now an advanced activity.
CSG resource authority holders must enter into a conduct and compensation agreement for these wells.
