Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Medical disputes now include issues about medical assessments during court proceedings; merit reviews; or Commission claim assessments.
The Commission now refers matters for further medical assessment; this replaces the President.
Guidelines for services provided by relevant service providers must be published in the Gazette.
The Minister no longer has specific powers if a direction under the Pipelines Act is ignored.
Management plans and marine park notifications must be published on a relevant NSW Government website; this replaces the Regional NSW website.
The Secretary of the Department of Customer Service replaces the CEO for Service NSW operations.
