Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
The Residual Transport Corporation is no longer a prescribed public authority for bore licences.
The Newcastle Port Corporation is no longer a Port Authority of New South Wales under marine pollution laws.
The Residual Transport Corporation is removed from the Transport Administration Act; only NSW Trains remains.
Roads authorities must now follow the Road Transport Act 2013 when ensuring they do not obstruct light rail systems.
