The bill makes changes to the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, which I will refer to as the POEO Act; the Protection of the Environment Administration Act 1991, which I will refer to as the POEA Act; the Pesticides Act 1999; the Protection from Harmful Radiation Act 1990; the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997; the Land and Environment Court Act 1979; the Plastic Reduction and Circular Economy Act 2021; the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2001; the Product Lifecycle Responsibility Act 2025; the Protection of the Environment Operations (General) Regulation 2022; the Stock Medicines Act 1989; and the Climate Change (Net Zero Future) Act 2023, or the climate change Act.
