If this bill passes, it means that:
Ends the Kosciuszko Wild Horse Heritage Act 2018.
Dissolves the Wild Horse Community Advisory Panel on the transition date; members cannot claim compensation for losing their roles.
Treats the existing wild horse heritage management plan as a plan of management for Kosciuszko National Park until the transition date.
Lets the minister amend the transitioned wild horse management plan by order.
Requires the minister to add wild horse management objectives and monitoring methods to the Kosciuszko National Park plan of management.
Lets the minister add these wild horse objectives without following standard consultation or recommendation procedures.
