Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
The State cannot pay compensation if it voluntarily terminates the Northern Beaches Hospital contract.
This ban applies to the Crown; the Health Administration Corporation; and the Northern Sydney Local Health District.
The ban overrides any other laws or agreements that would otherwise allow for compensation.
The Governor can make regulations to carry out the Act.
