Two new districts are created: the Murrumbidgee Local Health District and the Western Riverina Local Health District.
The Minister can transfer assets, rights and liabilities from the old district to the two new districts.
Ministerial transfer orders cannot be treated as breaches of contract; they do not trigger remedies or termination of instruments.

Lessees of the old district do not need to formally acknowledge the new districts as their landlords.
State taxes and fees are not payable on the transfer of assets or related activities.
