Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
The Remuneration Tribunal cannot increase pay for executive office holders and senior executives before 1 July 2025.
The Remuneration Tribunal cannot increase pay for judicial and other office holders before 1 July 2025.
The Tribunal must follow government policies when deciding pay for executive office holders and senior executives.
The Tribunal must use the same pay increase policies as the Industrial Relations Commission for executive and senior office holders.
