Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
The Minister appoints the ICNSW Board directors; this includes one nominee from Unions NSW and one nominee from an employer body.
The Minister can appoint a director directly if Unions NSW or an employer body fails to nominate someone on time.
Current appointed directors keep their seats.
The board does not need to include the new nominated directors until 12 months after the law starts.
