Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Gambling businesses must not provide services to people they suspect are using stolen money
Gambling businesses must report the use of their services to the Commissioner of Police if they suspect stolen money was used
Businesses face a maximum fine of $10 million for these offences
Courts must order gambling businesses to compensate people who lost money to these crimes
The Local Court can only impose fines up to $11,000 for these offences
