Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Either House of Parliament can pass a resolution to disallow the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) SEPP.
Parliament must give notice of this resolution within 15 sitting days of the Act starting.
The TOD SEPP is treated as if it had not been repealed on 14 May 2024 for the purpose of this process.
The Housing SEPP is restored to its previous state if the TOD SEPP is disallowed.
This restoration takes effect on the day the TOD SEPP is disallowed.
