Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Adults can possess and use cannabis; they cannot use it in smoke-free areas
Adults can grow up to 6 cannabis plants at their home; this is a total limit for all adults living at that residence
Adults can carry up to 50g of cannabis leaf outside their home
Adults can give up to 50g of cannabis as a gift to another adult; they cannot sell it
Adults are not committing a crime if they manufacture drugs from plants grown under these rules
Police cannot seize cannabis plants or leaves that are lawfully possessed under these rules
