Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Government party members cannot make up more than half of a Joint Investigatory Committee.
The chairperson of a Joint Investigatory Committee cannot be a member of a government party.
The Pandemic Declaration and Oversight Committee no longer has a limit on how many government party members can join.
