If this bill passes, it means that:
The Independent Office of Animal Welfare and the Chief Animal Welfare Officer can delegate their functions to another person.
Delegates are treated as the Chief Animal Welfare Officer; they can receive pay and travel expenses.
The Chief Animal Welfare Officer must leave meetings when the committee considers nominating a person for that office.
Committee members must vacate their seats if they miss three consecutive meetings without leave.
The Attorney General can remove committee members from office.
The law replaces the definition of an approved charitable organisation.
