If the Health Minister accepts a formal undertaking from a person, the Health Minister must give them a notice. This notice must state when the undertaking starts, how long it lasts, and how to apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal to review that period.

The Health Minister must give a copy of the approval to anyone whose application to have their premises approved as an accredited pathology laboratory is successful.

The Commonwealth must refund fees paid for pathology laboratory approvals or undertakings if those approvals or undertakings start on or after 1 July 2025.

The laws that set the fees for pathology services are abolished.
