“I move: That the bill be now read a second time. The Retail Trading Hours Amendment (Sunday Trading) Bill 2026 makes a simple and straightforward change. It allows general retail shops in metropolitan Perth to open from 8:00 am on Sundays instead of 11:00 am. This gives people another three hours in which to do their shopping.”
