“I move: That the bill be now read a second time. The Evidence Amendment (Reducing Retraumatisation for Survivors of Sexual Offending) Bill 2026 amends the Evidence Act 2025. This bill’s purpose is to reduce the unnecessary retraumatisation experienced by survivors of sexual offending as they navigate our criminal justice system.”
