The Debate

What different members said when this bill was debated:

Melanie Selwood GRN

“I move: That this bill be now read a second time. This bill is simple. It turns the fracking moratorium in the Limestone Coast into a permanent ban. It removes the expiry date. It removes uncertainty. It makes it clear that the Limestone Coast is not available for fracking: not now, not in 2028, not after another election, not when the gas lobby comes back with another proposal, not ever.”
