The minister no longer needs to consult the advisory council when assessing resources and capabilities.
The minister no longer needs to consult the advisory council when reviewing the strategic bushfire management plan.
The law removes requirements for a strategic bushfire management plan.
The law removes provisions regarding the bushfire season.
All legal instruments made under section 129 of the Emergencies Act 2004 are repealed.
