Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Constitutional corporations cannot build, install or commission wind farms in State forests.
This ban includes energy generation and storage infrastructure; it also covers transmission and distribution equipment.
The ban applies to specific areas including Sunny Corner, Vulcan, Mount David, Gurnang and Canobolas State Forests.
The Minister can seek injunctions to stop the construction of wind farms in these forests.
The Federal Court of Australia has the power to grant these injunctions.
