Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Persons responsible for grouped biologicals must pay an annual charge.
The charge applies if the grouped biologicals are listed in the Register at any time during a financial year.
The amount of the charge is set by regulation.
Grouped biologicals are now excluded from the scope of subsection 4(1AA) of the Therapeutic Goods Act.
