Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Section 72.19 of the Criminal Code is removed.
The court must decide to apply the law against hearsay before it applies to child-related proceedings under the Family Law Act.
Freedom of information requests must be sent to the agency or Minister using the methods listed in subsection 15(2A).
The law confirms there are no Table C providers under the Higher Education Support Act.
The Commonwealth Electoral Act no longer mentions the Northern Territory in subsection 93(10).
The ACMA now defines what counts as an approved examination for radiocommunications certificates.
The ACMA now declares the minimum age for different classes of radiocommunications certificates.
Part 10 of the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Act is removed.
