Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Everyone has the right to adequate housing.
Everyone can enjoy this right without discrimination.
No-one can be unlawfully or arbitrarily evicted from their home.
No-one can have essential utility services to their home unlawfully or arbitrarily withdrawn.
The Minister must review how the right to housing is working; they must report the findings to the Legislative Assembly within five years of the law starting.
