Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Fines and jail time go up for common and aggravated assault.
Penalties increase for unlawful entry on land; they triple if the person had a firearm.
Penalties for unlawful entry on land double if the person used a vehicle, vessel or aircraft.
Fines and jail time increase for property offences.
Driving in a way that scares or alarms others to cause damage or injury is now a criminal offence (road rage).
Police can now arrest people for road rage offences.
Owners of evasion vehicles can apply to court to have their vehicle unclamped or returned.
