Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

The Public Education Endowment Act 1909 is repealed.
The Trustees of Public Education Endowment are abolished; the trustees leave office.
Money held by the trustees moves to the Consolidated Account; it is no longer held in trust.
The trustees' agency special purpose account is closed.
Knutsford land vests in the State of Western Australia; it is no longer held in trust.
The State of Western Australia takes over all rights and liabilities for the Knutsford land.
Relevant officials must register the documents needed to show these changes.
State taxes and duties are not payable for these transfers.
