Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
Licensed interactive wagering services cannot be advertised.
ACMA must ban these ads during news and current affairs programs; this includes online content.
ACMA must ban these ads on commercial radio between 8:30 am-9:00 am and 3:30 pm-4:00 pm.
ACMA must ban these ads and commentator betting odds one hour before and after live sporting events.
ACMA must ban these ads between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm within two years.
ACMA must ban all broadcast, online, and print ads for these services within three years.
