Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

The law ends minimum pricing for liquor products.
Infringement notices and fines for breaching minimum price rules are removed.
Registered wholesalers have new requirements for the information they must keep.
A standard drink is defined as a liquor product containing 10g of ethyl alcohol.
The law sets a formula to calculate standard drinks; it also lets the number be taken from a product label.
For cocktails and mixed drinks, the total standard drinks are the sum of each component liquor.
