If this bill passes, it means that:
The Community Benefit Fund must provide grants for community projects and services.
The fund can pay for capital works or improvements to Territory-owned land and buildings; these must be occupied by not-for-profit organisations delivering community services.
A not-for-profit organisation is a body corporate registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
The Gaming Minister determines the monetary value that separates a minor benefit from a major benefit.
A motor vehicle is always classified as a major benefit.
