Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

The Electrical Safety Board must include a lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in the Territory.
The legal member must preside over meetings about disciplinary action; a quorum of 3 members is required.
The Board can pass disciplinary resolutions without a meeting if two specific members agree in writing.
The Auditor-General must audit every Public Trustee common fund within 6 months of the financial year ending.
The Public Trustee must give the Minister an operations report after the Auditor-General finishes an audit.
The law removes the prevention of child deaths provisions from the Care and Protection of Children Act 2007.
The law removes the Health and Community Services Complaints Review Committee.
