Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
The Authority must complete a national climate change risk assessment; it must make this assessment public.
The Minister must determine a national adaptation plan; this plan must be made public.
The entity responsible for the budget economic and fiscal outlook report must include the costs of climate change.
Relevant authorities must publicly release reports, assessments and advice from the Office of National Intelligence about climate change.
Relevant authorities must provide statements explaining how legislation is compatible with climate goals.
Relevant authorities must provide compatibility statements for legislative instruments.
