Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
People cannot advertise superannuation products to new employees after they accept a job offer but before the employer provides a choice of fund form
The ban does not apply to an employee's stapled fund; it also does not apply to the default fund specified in the employer's standard choice form
Certain MySuper products can still be advertised if specific disclosure and timing conditions are met
Content distributors are exempt if they did not know the advertisement broke the rules
World Rugby and related entities pay no income or withholding tax on money made from the 2027 and 2029 Rugby World Cups
Gifts to specific social and community organisations, including Equality Australia Ltd, are tax-deductible until July 2030
