If this bill passes, it means that:

The Consolidated Revenue Fund must pay for any liabilities the Commonwealth incurs under Pacific banking guarantees.
A guarantee is a Pacific banking guarantee if it is granted to an Australian-headquartered authorised deposit-taking institution (ADI) on behalf of the Commonwealth.
The guarantee must relate to the ADI's banking business in the Pacific region.
