If this bill passes, it means that:

Unresolved aircraft noise complaints made to the previous non-statutory ombudsperson move to the new statutory system.
The Aircraft Noise Ombudsperson takes over all records and documents from the previous non-statutory office.
Applicable laws for air navigation now include immigration, passports, customs, and quarantine rules.
The Aviation Consumer Protection Act 2026 is specifically excluded from the definition of applicable laws for air navigation.
