If this bill passes, it means that:

The Attorney-General can issue search warrants for the ACIC to search people, premises, and things
ACIC staff can issue notices to produce; these require people to provide assistance to access information
It is a criminal offence to ignore a notice to produce
Examiners can issue summonses; these force people to attend an examination
The Minister can issue, change, or cancel authorisations that identify serious and organised crime
Agency heads must provide requested information and documents; they can only refuse if a secrecy law stops them
