Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

The Western Australian Sports Centre Trust is abolished; its assets and liabilities move to the Sports and Entertainment Trust
The Sports and Entertainment Trust must manage and develop Trust venues and facilities
People acting for the Trust are protected from legal claims for damages
People under a temporary exclusion order are banned from Trust property
People under a permanent exclusion order can apply to have that order reconsidered
Committee members must disclose any material personal interest in a matter
The Trust can fire the CEO for neglecting their duty
It is a criminal offence to not return a Trust identity card within 21 days of leaving office
