Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

Legal acts, appointments and resignations made between 7 September 2021 and the day the bill starts are now valid.
Tribunal members hold office for up to 3 years; they can be reappointed.
The Tribunal must keep accurate minutes of every meeting.
The Tribunal can meet in person, remotely or using a mix of both.
Members can pass written resolutions without holding a meeting; these must be recorded in the next meeting's minutes.
Two members make up a quorum for meetings and decisions.
The term 'Chairman' is replaced by 'Chairperson'.
