Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

The Public Education Endowment Act 1909 is repealed.
The Trustees of Public Education Endowment are abolished; the trustees go out of office.
Money held by the trustees moves to the Consolidated Account.
Specific land in Knutsford vests in the State of Western Australia; the State takes over all related rights and liabilities.
The Registrar of Titles and other officials must register the land transfer.
No state tax or duty is payable on these transfers.
Transitional regulations cannot take away a person's existing rights; they cannot impose new liabilities for past acts.
