Western Australia adopts the Commonwealth Gene Technology Act 2000 as state law

People cannot be tried twice for the same gene technology offence
Commonwealth administrative laws apply to the gene technology framework
The Gene Technology Act 2006 and Gene Technology Regulations 2007 are repealed
Pending accreditation applications under the old law are handled under the new law
