If this bill passes, it means that:
Consorting restrictions now apply to people who commit child sex offences; this is in addition to indictable offences.
These restrictions apply to child sex offences committed outside Western Australia; this includes offences committed outside Australia.
The law now includes child sex offences when determining if a person is restricted from associating with others.
