Establishes the Queensland Academy of Sport as a statutory body.
Bans people with indictable convictions or those who are insolvent from serving on the Academy board.
Bans the Academy CEO and staff from serving on the Academy board.
Lets the Sport Minister request criminal history reports for potential board members who consent.
Fines board members who fail to tell the Sport Minister they are insolvent or disqualified from managing corporations.
Fines board members or the CEO who fail to tell the Sport Minister about an indictable conviction.
Fines people who illegally disclose or use personal information.
Bans the Academy CEO from taking other paid work or managing a business without board approval.
